As a member of our community, part of our civic duty is to work together and protect those most at-risk by staying at home.
General Recommendations:
- Make sure you are frequently washing your hands
- Use hand sanitizer when washing your hands is not possible
- Stay at home and limit contact with groups of people
- Practice social distancing to reduce exposure in large groups
- Offer help to the elderly, those with weakened immune systems
- Practice good hygiene and refrain from touching your face
- Stay at home if you are sick
- Develop a plan for e-Learning, working from home, and child care
If you have symptoms:
- Use the CDC's Self-Checker function and follow the recommended steps
- Call your physician’s office before you visit their office or emergency room
- Virtual screenings like the IU Health Virtual Visit App are also valuable options
- Reduce your exposure to others in your household
